Organic Cotton is generally understood as cotton and is grown in subtropical countries such as America and India, from non genetically modified plants, that is to be grown without the use of any synthetic agricultural chemicals such as fertilizers or pesticides.

Miranda Kerr was photographed out and about in Sydney, Australia on February 16, and was looking adorable as always in a simple yet chic ensemble. Starting with a pair of rose colored trousers (to get the look with denim, try either Current/Elliot’s Stiletto in Rosewood or Hudson Jeans’ Orange Jean Pant in Tangerine, both of which are similar in hue to Miranda’s), the Victoria’s Secret vixen then kept is simple with a white t-shirt (try Wit.’s Burnout Pocket Tee in White) and vibrant turquoise bag (for something similar, check out Julie K Handbags’ Terri Croc in Turquoise). A pair of nude heels and a few silver bracelets provided the finishing touches for Miranda’s ensemble.

Many people may not be aware that the United States is the second largest single country exporter of textiles, with $20 billion in exports in 2010. Businesses that contribute to this volume of exports range from small, family-owned and operated facilities to integrated mills that operate state of the art machinery and production equipment.

The textile and apparel industry provides the U.S. economy with a major source of employment and economic activity.  The industry is one of the largest employers in the manufacturing sector. Between 2009-2010, the U.S. textile and apparel exports grew 19 percent to $20 billion, and were up 14 percent through November of 2011.
