Tencel
Tencel heralds the beginning of a new age in fiber technology. Tencel is a pure and natural cellulose fiber derived from the renewable resource eucalyptus wood. The wood used comes from tree farms that practice sustainability. Completely natural, a major breakthrough was made with the development of the unique nanofibril structure of this fiber. What this simply means is, it is: soft as silk, strong as polyester, cool as linen, warm as wool, and as absorbent as cotton. Quite simply a “break-through” fabric.

The Feel Good Fabric – the number of people with sensitive skin is constantly increasing. Tencel is the perfect fiber for sensitive skin because the smooth and supple fiber surface provides maximum comfort to the skin.

The Moisture Manager – Perfect moisture management is particularly important for the subjective well-being of the skin. The skin being the largest human respiratory organ, it acts as a protective shell, regulating body temperature and maintaining water balance. Tencel supports these functions like a second skin.

The production of the Tencel fiber is revolutionary. It represents one of the greatest achievements in cellulose fiber technology, in that the solvent that is used to process it, is recycled and recovered up to 99.5%. The emissions which remain are decomposed in adapted biological purification plants. The manufacturing process was awarded the “European Award for the Environment” by the European Union.
